Itinerary

DAY 1: 21 OF JUNE, Welcome to Cusco - City tour

Upon arrival in Cusco, Your transfer and your private transport will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel. We will welcome you to Cuzco, ensuring you have a safe and comfortable reception. Check in at your hotel. At 1:30 pm. You will be picked up from your hotel to go on the CITY TOUR: 04 Hours. Guided visit to the convent of Santo Domingo. Later we will move to the rest of the archaeological sites located on the outskirts of the city of Cuzco.. These sites are Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pucapucara and Tambomachay. We will return to the city to spend the night at the Hotel Cuzco.

DAY 2: 22 OF JUNE, Visit of the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Train ride to Aguas Calientes)

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 a.m. for an all day tour. During your trip to the Sacred Valley, will visit Awanacancha (an alpaca farm and weaving center), the ruins of Pisaq, the market of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. At 7 pm. you will take the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, the town located right at the foot of Machu Picchu. You will stay in a hotel here.

Important note: sometimes train tickets sell out quickly and we have to take an alternative train, the Vistadome train at 3:36 p.m. If this is the case, we'll have to start this tour instead, at 7 a.m. from your hotel.

DAY 3: 23 OF JUNE, Visit to Machu Picchu (I return to Cusco)

The usual departure is at 5:20 a.m., after breakfast. The bus that will travel to the archaeological center of Machu Picchu takes 25 minutes and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. If the weather allows it, it will be possible to see the sunrise over the ruins. Your tour guide will accompany you for two hours, explaining the inca culture, the history and specialty of its architecture. after tour, you will have time to explore on your own or use your tickets to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain (the climb to Huayna Picchu requires a ticket of $ 35 and must be booked in advance).

When you are ready to leave the Machu Picchu complex, you will take a bus back to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch and explore the town. Your train will depart from Aguas Calientes at 4:22 p.m. Upon arrival at the train station in Cuzco, your transportation will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel..

DAY 4: 24 OF JUNE, Festival of the Sun or Inti raymi (Ceremony)

very early in the morning, We will pick you up from your hotel to go to the Qorikancha temple and appreciate the initiation of the famous "Fiesta del Sol" then in the company of your group and the guide you will go to the Plaza de Armas where the Inca will give a message to the people of Cusco and finally on the mountain of Sacsayhuaman you will be able to appreciate from a tribune all the ceremony and the sacred rites in honor of the Sun God, a truly spectacular performance. In the afternoon they will return to the city of Cusco.

DAY 5: 25 OF JUNE, hot - AIRPORT

Depending on the time of the final flight, we can have a free morning before going to the Cuzco airport to fly back to Lima and connect with the return flight to your country of origin.
